I am a political analyst who is obsessed with food. After many years of graduate school in New York, where I earned a doctorate in political science (with a focus on race, gender and immigration politics), my husband and I moved to DC to throw ourselves into the policy world. In my new capacity as the mother of a very spirited 15-month old boy, I'm learning how to cater my interests in gastropolitics to mini-people.
